More out of date guff going around on Facebook. So I’ll post it here so you can share it and then you won’t click on the Daily Mail links and give them any more Google juice.
The weather is always good on social media channels at this time of year.
Here is what the BBC has to say about the weather in October, this is from the Met Office which is a Government department and pretty good at weather forecasting, OK apart from 26 years ago when Michael Fish got it a bit wrong.
So currently circulating on Facebook is this from 2011, as the BBC weather outlook shows us, we are unlikely to be in for a big freeze.
And then there is this one, Big freeze on the way, which is a little harder to decipher as there is no date on it, but as you can see it is from 2004.
So kids, check before you post or click and try not to share links to the Daily Mail, it’s bad for you..
While I openly admit to disliking the Daily Mail, this post was written to highlight sheeple just clicking and sharing stuff on Facebook is bad. I would have written it if the content being shared was from any other publication, I’d have just left the snarky comments out!
If anyone wants the personal reason why I don’t like the Daily Mail then this article should help, Littlejohn stranded on the road to nowhere.
