We’ve all done it, loads of tabs open in your browser, news, E-mail, blog, etc. etc. then all of a sudden one of those really annoying videos starts to play somewhere.
Where?
Where’s the noise coming from, as you frantically click on tabs while trying to turn the volume down so you don’t get caught browsing the internet by colleagues when you are supposed to be working on that really exciting document.
Panic over, the latest version of Google Chrome has just started rolling out and it now shows you which tab is making the noise. Wherever there is audio playing, either as audio or as a video you will see a small speaker icon appear on the offending tab.
Panic no more.
